Already installed in over 150 facilities, SchoolSafe products provide tested and proven protection from gunfire and prolonged physical attacks.
Unlike thin-film products, SchoolSafe uses multiple bonded layers of glass, polycarbonate, and polyurethane to create a thick ForceShield™ that can withstand extensive abuse, providing up to 20 additional minutes of protection from armed intruders. Available in two distinct products, SchoolSafe Standard provides comprehensive protection from forced entry, and SchoolSafe Premium adds an additional layer of protection with ForceShield Level 1 bullet resistance—the industry’s only bullet-resistant school safety glass.
An excellent choice for both exterior and interior applications, including storefronts, curtainwalls, doors, and partitions, SchoolSafe products provide natural daylight, visibility, and enhanced thermal comfort. When used in exterior applications, SchoolSafe can be made into high-performance insulating glass units to provide improved building performance in addition to protection from gunfire and impact.
