The Industry’s First Purpose-Built, All-Glass Ballistic Door

More than meets the eye.

While this may look like an ordinary Class A glass door, it’s anything but ordinary.

Defendoor™ was born from our experience manufacturing, installing, and maintaining ballistic glass doors, and supporting customers with poorly-performing glass doors from other manufacturers. There simply was no product on the market that could provide advanced ballistic and forced entry protection with a refined aesthetic—and stand up to the rigors of continuous operation.

We created the Defendoor™ to fill this void in the market: An all-glass ballistic and forced entry door system designed to look just as good as a standard glass door, but install more easily, operate more effortlessly, require less maintenance, and provide comprehensive protection from gunshots and physical attacks.

Glass-clad polycarbonate (GCP) provides identical appearance as clear glass, and the door’s sleek, proprietary design provides class A elegance and unobstructed view. Suitable for interior or exterior applications, Defendoor™ is compatible with all standard door options and leading access controls.

Most importantly, ForceShield™ GCP provides peace of mind for building occupants, withstanding the EN 1063 BR4-S Ballistic Schedule, modified (low-spall) UL 752 Level 3 Ballistic Penetration Standard, and ASTM F3561 Level 7 Standard Test Method for Forced-Entry-Resistance of Fenestration Systems After Simulated Active Shooter Attack.
